Member representing Ughelli North Constituency II, at the Delta State House of Assembly, Prince Eric Oharisi has condemned the continuous attacked on his constituents by suspected killer herdsmen in Uwheru communities, Ughelli North local government area of Delta State
Condemning the attack, Oharisi held that the state government and House of Assembly member are working on modalities to ensure that the attack of suspected Fulani herdsmen in Uwheru communities is stopped.
He said, “I have come to commiserate with the families of those who lost their love ones who happened to be my constituents and with what I saw here, I knew something terrible happened that sacks our fathers, Mothers and brothers.
“I will liase with my colleagues in the House and the governor of the state to ensure that a bill is proposed to ban open grazing just what happened in Benue State, we need to take a clue from there and start urgently.
“But it has to start from the House of Assembly which I am a member and I am appealing to my colleagues to join me in fighting this unwanted killing by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
Assuring the people of Uwheru community, Oharisi said, “I will ensure that the state governor visit the people of Agadama and other affected communities.”
